Nov. 10, 2006 - Clarity and certainty can be elusive
People are saying, "So-and-so told me about your project. But (s)he really couldn't explain it." I think, "That's no wonder, I can't explalin it well either." I feel more clear than certain about this whole endeavor. There are many unknown "X"s, "Y"s, and "Z"s. So at this point my journey seems like a complex algebraic formula. It'll take well-ordered steps and knowledge of universal rules to find a solution, if indeed there is one. Maybe it'll end up "undefined" like dividing by zero.
I'm totally clear I must do this and I certainly know that what unfolds is very uncertain. Like a business plan, the projections are constantly adjusted as time goes on and the planned steps are taken or not taken successfully.
Writing about the process of preparing for this journey is something like writing my strategic business plan. My vision and mission are foremost. Then steps to bring about the vision unfold through thoughtful plans or spontaneous adjustments. For example, I have received my "Annuity Surrender Request" form from my IRA so I can pay off my credit cards and the second mortgage on my little desert house in Joshua Tree. That's a big step and without it, or a magical influx of unexpected monies to pay off the debts, I wouldn't be able to start this journey. A spontaneous adjustment was made when I discovered there is a little extra left over that I can put into my business account to pay my cell phone and website fees. So, now I've decided to keep my phone and website going. I can hold on to helpful, practical things, you know.
Do you know anyone who would like to manage my lighten up! learning website and business account? I have expressed the thought to the Universe that lighten up! learning (LUL) is easily taken care of while I'm off teaching.

"Teacher," is launching a spiritual pilgrimage dedicated to helping thousands of people to create happier, more hopeful lives. The Be-Loved Project starts January 1st, 2007 in Joshua Tree, CA.
