I'll be driving back to Denver on Sunday, the 19th, leaving the 23rd for a workshop and back again in Denver the 27th, in case any of you Colorado friends are following my blog. Too bad I've haven't written much, but it's just been wonderful here in the SW Mojave. My friends I've been helping are doing well and I'm ready to move on; beginning to chomp at the bit. After my return on the 27th and filing my taxes, I'm planning on heading to Georgia, but without a car this time. My car has given me a strong message in the form of another thousand dollars (thank God I left a little in my biz account) worth of seals and stuff, that it doesn't like long trips. I'll nurse it back on Sunday, even though it's getting fixed today.
For the first time in many years I was with my oldest son on his birthday Tuesday. I'm so proud of him for quitting his job (that kept him more than "just over broke") and dedicating a month to his screen-play writing. Takes a little guts.
And I finally dedicated time to my book, now renamed, "How Were You TOUCHED AS A CHILD and Why Does It Matter?" It's about a third the length of the original, better organized, and geared more towards parents, teachers, and counselors. So my son and I both celebrated. It's ready to be book into an e-book form. Also my sitting booklet (Any Seat's An Easy Chair) and math (The Power of One) e-booklets will be online to order soon. I have five follow-up booklets to the one on touch coming soon too.
I can't wait to do more teaching. I've done lots of healing and physical work here and also helped in a special education class, but taught only one yoga class and one workshop. The workshop was awesome though: "Turning Little Annoyances Into Amazing Grace." I'd like to do it in Denver too. In case you or anyone you know is interested in helping set that up, please contact me.
Enough for now from 7th Heaven in Joshua Tree. Love and blessings to all, Paula (aka Teacher)
