Dinosounds in Tucson - 8:40 PM, Feb. 6, 2006 |
I was in Tucson for the Fossil and Mineral Exhibition last week. I performed at the T-Rex Museum of Ancient Life for about 300 happy kids and parents. Lately, I've been teaching them how to make a dinosaur sound (parasaurolophus to be exact). The show was in full swing, and I got to visit with John Hedley and George Heslep - George displayed some wonderful Anomalocaris jaws, and I got my picture taken in front of a skeleton of Quetzalcoatlus. That flying reptile was the size of an airplane! "Dino-guy" Ron Schmidtling |

Ron, so glad you've joined us on The Connectory. I've heard incredible things about Quartzite and will make it there one day. By the way, I visited your website the other day and must tell you how amazing your pictures and commentary are about Hurricane Katrina. Very moving!Gale Connell
