Many of you know that I host the Wednesday Lunches at The Breckenridge Brewery. Yesterday Ted Case spoke and was brillant with his business insight and experential processes. I strongly recommend anyone who is either sitting on the fence and trying to uncover their passion to call Ted. I feel he is the best kept secret in IBI today. If you've heard me use that phrase with Paul Hoyt, he aint a secret anymore. Ted has a laser focus to get to the core issue quickly. A talent that I have witnessed. I find it fascinating all the talent that is among us in the front range. Its time we use him...also he is in the later stages of finishing a new book. Ask him about it.

It has come to my attention that after giving a lead or contact many have not followed up properly. Giving a lead may be easy for some of us. I expect the recipient to call the new contact within twelve to twenty four hours. Always address how you got their contact information and the reason for your call. Too often we ask for something we are not ready to receive in many ways. I really feel that you should not ask unless your prepared to follow through. IBI is fertile ground for enormous contacts, now is time to take the proper action and follow through with those great leads. I look forward to your comments.

Friday night I had the opportunity to attend a Visionary Conference held by the DaVinci Institute. It consisted of Inventors who were showing their lastest inventions and they were either looking for contacts, marketing ideas of how to get their produsts to the market or money. I was rather impressed by a couple of ideas/products. One dealt with a cooling system to be placed in your hat/helmet. Apparently if the head temp raises about 101.something your cognitive abilities start to diminish. This system will not only keep you cool but will allow you to perform at higher levels either in a sporting function or just work. So call me if this has some interest to you. Another very cool invention dealt with sound. You not only hear it, but feel the experience of the multi layers of rhythm and melodic sounds that push your sensory levels. It is an actual physical experience. Imagine being in a theater or concert hall and having the sound actually puslating at levels that do not hurt the ears. You feel sound. It was a trip. I immediately thought about being at IBI and having this element added to the super teaching. Whoa, that would work. Finally I saw a sporting idea that looked like inline skates only geared to off roading. That looked fun but in my case rather challenging. If you'd like introductions to any of these folks just write me.
