Know Fear... And Do It Anyway - 1:00 PM, Feb. 1, 2006

Okay, here are some quotes to make up for the "LOST" days...  So enjoy and create a wonderful day...

"The invisible world is far more real than the visible world...
The reason you and I get so defeated and discouraged is because
we think that what we see is really the way it is."
Ron Dunn
1937 - 2001, Pastor, Speaker

The man who makes everything that leads to happiness depend upon himself, and not upon other men, has adopted the very best plan for living happily.

- Plato

You can always tell the size of a person
by the size of the problem it takes to get them down.
Unknown

The question is not whether you're frightened or not, but whether you or the fear is in control. If you say, "I won't be frightened," and then you experience fear, most likely you'll succumb to it, because you're paying attention to it. The correct thing to tell yourself is, "If I do get frightened, I will stay in command."

- Herbert Fenstermeim

No Fear. . . - 5:36 PM, Feb. 1, 2006 Edit Delete

As you might expect, I find wisdom in odd places. One of my favorite quotes comes from Frank Herbert's novel, "Dune." He says, "Fear is the mindkiller."

That's a pretty good description of what happens to our thought processes when we get caught up in fear. Conversely, courage is loving who we are and what we do enough to acknowledge the fear, and proceed anyway.

It's good to have you back, Coach!

Blessings,
