So Simple. . .But. . . - 6:32 PM, Feb. 7, 2006 Edit Delete

The thing is, everywhere we look, we see reasons not to trust ourselves. Our alleged inadequacies are exploited by our media, our politics, and our religions. Alas, as they say, the only way out, is through.

If we pay close attention to our thoughts, our "talking mind" (see "Lorcan's Bane" ~ shameless plug for kittyconnell.com), we realize that most of what we tell ourselves about ourselves is untrue. We've simply taken someone else's negative expectations about life and made them our own. By confronting those beliefs with the truth of who we are, we will learn to trust ourselves. Then not only will our dreams begin to manifest, we will contribute positivity to All.

Blessings,

Thanks Kitty for your wonderful insights and bringing up our Gremlins (inner voices) that do so much to hold us back from realizing our dreams... Tim

Learning to trust ourselves is a lifelong journey. Think of the changes in the world when we support and teach our children to trust themselves!
